Day 448: Keep The Faith
It's Day 448 of Nutrisystem and Day 11 of staying at home. Life hasn't really changed much for me and I'm grateful for that. When I'm not working or exercising I spend time playing online games or doing some virtual window shopping. I'm not ordering anything because many retailers are having a difficult time keeping up with the influx of online orders, but it's fun to look and add items to my "wish list". When this has passed I plan to take a few days to shop in some real stores ! Until then I'll continue working on home projects, such as purging my garage ! Looks like this weekend is going to be mild but rainy so it'll be a good day to poke around in the junk in the garage. Goal will be tossing at least 5o% !!
Breakfast was a 2.1 ounce 180 calorie cinnamon roll. Power fuel was a 5.3 ounce Light & Fit toasted coconut vanilla yogurt. Morning snack was a 155 calorie chocolate shake with peanut butter powder. Lunch was a 4 ounce 220 calorie spinach & cheese pretzel melt with a chef salad. Dressing added 30 calories. Afternoon snack was a 1.3 ounce 190 calorie package of Jif Power Ups. Dinner was a 4 ounce 180 calorie artichoke & spinach stuffed chicken breast with the last of my roasted veggies. Evening snack was a 2.1 ounce 130 calorie strawberry shortcake cupcake with a cup of hazelnut coffee. Total calories for the day are 1165 and I got 64 ounces of water in.
My lunchtime workout was a 14 minute walk around Cambridge, MA with iFit guide Josh Luckens. The pace was only 2.5 mph and this was a short workout, so I started at 3 mph and bumped it up to 3.2 at the 7 minute mark. It was an interesting walk so I wish it was longer ! After work I let Hannah Eden about kill me on what she called an "easy" 35 minute walk in Chile. I knew it was going to be tough because the pace was 3.2 to 3.3 mph the entire way .. but it was tougher than I expected. There was some incline here and there and the pace slowed slightly, but never lower than 2.9 mph. I haven't sweated this much in a while ! I logged 49 minutes, 2.6 miles and 304 calories. I didn't think I'd have it in me to get on the Total Gym but by the time I had dinner I was fully recovered and had no reason not to. So I put in the usual 40-45 minutes.
Needless to say I am tired and ready for a hot shower and my soft bed .. so that is where I'm headed !
