Day 6 (AG): Positive
🖤 Get well soon Tommy ! #teamrivs #RageOn 🖤
It's day 6 AG (after goal) and day 938 of Nutrisystem ! After a few days of sliding back into self-doubt I pulled myself out of that negativity and refocused on thinking positive thoughts. I had it in me to lose 158 pounds, so I most certainly have it in me to keep it off. It's all about choices now. I can fall back into living in fear or I can rejoice in where I am and resolve to stay here. It's really pretty simple and an easy choice. I choose positivity ! I WILL keep the weight off. I WILL stay fit. I WILL stay out of debt. I WILL I WILL I WILL ... and I will write that 1000 times if that is what it takes for it to sink in ! My problem is I've forgotten how to be happy so I'm not really sure how to go about it. I always find something to criticize myself for and I'm always waiting for something bad to happen. It's not an every day thing but it's something I wish I could eliminate from my life. Perhaps with time ?
Breakfast was a pancakes with sugar free syrup and a lemon meringue yogurt. Morning snack was a chocolate shake with peanut butter powder. Lunch was a pepperoni pizza melt and a chef salad. Afternoon snack was 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 2 Alyssa's oatmeal cookies. In honor of National Lasagna Day dinner was lasagna with roasted veggies. Evening snack was toffee crunch cookies. My breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening snack were all Nutrisystem products.
My workout day started in the South of France with iFit trainer Alex Gregory. I did this workout "as programmed" in order to get some incline work. Next up was Portland, Oregon with iFit trainer Knox Robinson. I used my own custom endurance settings for this one. I ended the day with a walk around Oslo, Norway with iFit guide Helene De Mora. I used my own settings here too, 1 minute intervals at 3.5 mph and 1 minute rests at 2.5 mph - all at 4% incline. All the trainers say you need to change up your workouts instead of doing the same thing every day so today I did endurance, incline and intervals ! I logged 79 minutes, 3.9 miles and 482 calories. I skipped the Total Gym and Fitbit says I did over 12,000 steps.
I spent the day working on the front porch and got a ton of work done before training started at 1 pm. It was cold and rainy much of the day, we didn't even hit 70 degrees. Not exactly what you expect at the end of July ! The weather doesn't look to be any better tomorrow. On that note it's about time for a shower and bed because the evening snack monster is stirring and I am not giving in !
