Day 908: Not The Day I Planned

Today is day 908 of Nutrisystem. I had no inspiration today. I got up resigned to the fact that this was not going to be the kind of day I planned on when I went to bed last night. I woke up during the night with a stomach ache and just before 5 am I was up vomiting. Once my stomach was empty I felt better and was able to go back to sleep. I have no idea what made me ill. Something in my salad ? (we'll see - I ate from the same bowl of salad today, lol) The fresh cherries that I didn't wash ? (I didn't eat any today) The veggies I roasted yesterday ? We'll see, had some for dinner tonight ! I don't suspect any of the Nutrisystem food but you never know. It could just be a bug, though I have not been out since Saturday. Whatever it was, I did not feel 100% when I got up and I decided to give myself a break from the treadmill today. There is no earthly reason to kill myself. During lunch I cleaned litter boxes, along with the rest of the laundry room. I also installed the air conditioner in my office/workout room ! About 3 pm I moved from the stifling hot front porch to that nice cool room. The sun swings around in the late afternoon and turns the porch into a hothouse and I couldn't take the heat today. After work I continued with a bunch of small tasks that I've been putting off. I organized all my exercise gear, sorting out the stuff that is too big on me now or that is winter weight. I cleared away all the "stuff" that had taken over the dining room table. I determined that for the first time in my life I need a shoe rack or some other way to store shoes too ! I have gone from owning 1 or 2 pairs to owning 20 or more ! Getting these little things and a whole lot more accomplished makes me feel better about skipping the treadmill. At least for once I didn't waste the time !


Breakfast was a 160 calorie cherry cheese roll and an 80 calorie Light & Fit strawberry cheesecake yogurt. I did not have a morning snack. Lunch was a 220 calorie pepperoni pizza melt with a chef salad. Afternoon snack was 1/2 cup cottage cheese (80 calories) and 2 Alyssa's oatmeal cookies (90 calories). Dinner was 260 calorie roasted turkey medallions with roasted veggies. Evening snack was a 140 calorie chocolate cupcake. Total calories for the day are 1030 and I got about 64 ounces of water in.


I am hoping to have a better night and be back on my game tomorrow ! At the very least I want to make sure I'm in tip top shape to enjoy the ball game on Thursday ! I was glad I felt well enough to be productive at work since we are short handed and I am off next week. I got a lot accomplished so I'm not feeling super stressed as the week goes on. On that note it's about time for a shower and bed.
