Day 837: It's Monday
🖤 Get well soon Tommy ! #teamrivs #RageOn 🖤
Today is day 837 of Nutrisystem. This quote is so me. When I get into the longer (10+ minute) stretches of my treadmill workouts I start breaking the intervals down into smaller time frames in my head. I try hard not to watch the timer so I do that and also watch the mileage counter. I have to focus on multiple things to help pass the time. I can't just listen to the trainer or guide and watch the video. I do that, but I also spend a lot of time doing math in my head. The app on my tablet displays the time remaining and the counter on my treadmill displays the time elapsed so I switch back and forth between the two to mark the minutes (or 30 seconds !) on each. Keeping my brain busy does a lot to help the time pass and very often gets me over the hump and to the end of the workout.
Breakfast was a 2.8 ounce 150 calorie pancakes with sugar free syrup and a 5.3 ounce 80 calorie Light & Fit strawberry cheesecake yogurt. Morning snack was a 120 calorie vanilla shake with peanut butter powder. Lunch was a 3.8 ounce 220 calorie pepperoni pizza melt with a chef salad. Afternoon snack was 1/2 cup cottage cheese (80 calories) and 2 Alyssa's oatmeal cookies (90 calories). Dinner was an 8 ounce 220 calorie rotini & meatballs with roasted veggies. Evening snack was my favorite 2.2 ounce 140 calorie lemon zest cake. Total calories for the day are 1100 and I got 80 ounces of water in.
I still have 12 Hershey Kisses, 6 mini scones, cheese curds and a bag of Skinny Pop popcorn .. lol ! I seem to get in the most trouble on weekends. This weekend is going to be a tough one because Saturday is casino day and Sunday I have a special event to attend that involves food. I'm going to try very hard to be good and I'm also going to try very hard to get a morning workout on both days. The plan for Saturday is no sweetened coffee drinks and no desserts. I will bring a Nutrisystem snack with me, just in case. Sunday, well ... we'll see !
First workout of the day was Romania with iFit trainer John Peel. Second workout was Utah with iFit trainer Zac Marion and the 3rd workout was another in French Polynesia with iFit guide George Mumford. I logged almost 90 minutes, 5.1 miles and 610 calories. I also put in about 20 minutes on the Total Gym for a lower body workout. Fitbit says I did over 17,000 steps.
