Day 782: Onward
🖤 Get well soon Tommy ! #teamrivs #RageOn 🖤
Today is day 782 of Nutrisystem. Where has this quote been all my life ? I guess it was hanging around waiting for me to get done with all the things that DIDN'T make me happy ! Being on the Nutrisystem program makes me happy. Having my credit card debt paid off makes me even happier. Getting physically fit makes me happy too ! Life is so much better when you're not carrying 304 pounds around. I don't miss the aches and pains and everything else that went along with being that heavy. I've been at a bit of a crossroads lately because I went off track over the holidays and it's been hard to get back on. I'm getting there but the progress is slow and frustrating. There's no one to blame but me so it's up to me to work it out. I've given serious thought to just stopping at my current weight and working on maintenance, but I just can't do it. I have come too far to give up now, because that is what I would be doing. Giving up. The old me always gave up when the going got tough and I'm not willing to do that again. I don't care if it takes me another year, I will get to 150 pounds. I still have a lot of fight left in me and I'm not willing to let less than 10 pounds beat me. So .. onward.
Breakfast was a 2.5 ounce 160 calorie buttermilk waffles with sugar free syrup and a 5.3 ounce 80 calorie Light & Fit creme brulee yogurt. Morning snack was a 120 calorie chocolate shake with peanut butter powder. Lunch was a 3.8 ounce 220 calorie pepperoni pizza melt with a chef salad. Afternoon snack was 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (80 calories) and 2 Alyssa's oatmeal cookies (90 calories). Dinner was a 4.7 ounce 250 calorie meatloaf sandwich with roasted veggies. Evening snack was a 1.8 ounce 140 calorie s'mores pie. Total calories for the day are 1140 and I got 80 ounces of water in.
First workout of the day was in Vietnam with iFit trainer John Peel. Second workout was another on the Serengeti of Tanzania with iFit guide Dr Evan Antin. Last workout of the day was the South of France with iFit trainer Alex Gregory. I logged 76 minutes, 4.4 miles and 518 calories. I also spent about 20 minutes on the Total Gym for a lower body workout. Today I can lift my arm without pain so I think the decision to take a break from the upper body workout was a good one. I'm also using the heating pad on and off at night and that seems to help as well. I did shovel a little bit of snow today but it was only the front steps and the area in front of my garage and side door. My plow guy did an awesome job clearing the driveway right down to the pavement. It was nearly 40 today so it was perfect for moving the snow. Fitbit says I did over 14,000 steps !
Weather today was warmer but we had light snow on and off all day. There was no real accumulation, it just covered up the dirty snow ! Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow since it's going up to 45 degrees, so I'm glad to have the driveway clear. All that snow would have turned into a slushy and even heavier mess ! My workday was not productive at all because everything I touched today was a hot mess. I guess that's why they call me a Complex Billing Specialist ! I am hoping to get a little further ahead tomorrow so we'll see. On that note it's long past time for a shower and bed.
